The Punjab Technical University has released the result calendar for the examinations held in the month of MAY, 2014. the result calendar announced is for the all the courses. the list of courses are as under

8. M.Tech and all other courses.
The university has a tradition of on the time result as displayed in their released result calendar. most of the results are announced on the same date . the calendar is usually announced to cater with the heavy rush problem on the server at the time of result.

examination form NOVEMBER 2013 PTU

The Punjab Technical University has released the forms for its examination to be held in NOVEMBER, 2013. the exams is going to beheld for all the departments whose courses are being offered to the students through all the affiliated colleges and also by the  university campus itself. the main courses are B.Tech, MBA, BBA, PGDCA, etc. The exams are going to be held in November- December. The exams are to be conducted in all the colleges affiliated to the UNIVERSITY. The students are being directed by the university to fill the forms online by logging into their respective log in- ids and fill the subjects and also submitting these forms in their respective colleges before the last date to avoid the late fees. The last dates to fill and submit the forms before the college is
without late fees      24-09-2013 to 20-10-2013 for REGULAR STUDENTS and others date are available in the notification link below. the dates are different for the Regular and Reappear students. the forms though can also be submitted after those dates but strictly with the payable late fees charges. the university would be conducting exams for over 1 lac students pursuing various courses in various affiliated colleges in the state of PUNJAB. the students are going to be balancing this exam along with the festive season in the north INDIA. moreover,

PTU DATE SHEET FOR DEP COURSES MARCH 2013

The Punjab Technical University has announced the date sheet for its distance education program for march 2013. The exams are scheduled to be held in two sessions morning and evening from 15th of march 2013.The exams are to be held for all the courses that comes under PTU DEP (distance education program). HOW TO CHECK YOUR ANSWER SHEET THROUGH RTI in PTU

In Punjab Technical University the results for B.tech has recently been announced. the results are by and large good but still some of you might just not get satisfied with the result according to your performance. the grace marks are awarded to many students who are placed around just below the passing marks of 24 from 60. the candidates can fill the reevaluation form for the subject in which they think checkers hadn't checked their papers correctly by giving a nominal amount. other alternative of not spending this amount is to file an RTI (right to information). In RTI the students can file an application under RTI act 2005 to the PTU which will entitle them to get a photocopy of their answer sheet and then they could check the marking of the examiner themselves.

All PUNJAB TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY affiliated colleges were scheduled to start their academic year 2012-13 from 16th  of July 2012. new batch 2012 will also start its scheduling from the same day as stated by academic calender but, due to short filling of seats throughout the engineering colleges in Punjab the date for starting the academic session has been delayed according to the well need of the respective college even after the notice by the university affairs of PTU. the stuents from senior batches are joining their classes according to their pre decided time as after the RAKSHABANDHAN a festival of India popularly celebrated in the north India.the colleges surrounding the city beautiful  chandigarh had started their registration process for students and students had registered themselves for the new year but are not joining the classes. so, a lot of mismanagement and lots of non following of the university notices  are been seen throughout these colleges.
